Speaking to One Another
Since August 2009 dvv international has been implementing a project with the aim of contributing to the Turkish-Armenian reconciliation process.
After a century of conflict and lack of dialogue, this project aims to build bridges between Turkey’s and Armenia’s populations through adult education, intercultural exchange and oral history research.

Soviet Past Research Laboratory
A project on processing the Soviet past with a focus on stalinism in Georgia. In cooperation with the Heinrich-Boell-Foundation and dvv international.
Houshamadyan Project
A project to reconstruct Ottoman Armenian town and village life: Houshamadyan is the name of a non-profitmaking association that was founded in Berlin, Germany, in 2010. It has a basic mission: to reconstruct and preserve the memory of Armenian life in the Ottoman Empire through research.
Interview Project Germany
What is Interview Project Germany? A simple and ingenious idea – a road trip across Germany – hundreds of miles from east to west and from north to south. A journey that thrives on totally random encounters with fifty very different people.
Everybody has a story to tell and it has been captured by the IPG film crew. These stories are personal and unexpected, authentic and touching. They are about happiness, sudden turning-points, breaking down and getting up again, about desire, love, faith, fear, hopes and ideas. Many of the people that were interviewed haven´t shared their lives to such a personal extent with anyone before.
The result: Interview Project Germany gives a voice to ordinary people and allows us unusual insights into their lives.

Gedächtnis der Nation - Memory of the Nation
Geschichte lebt durch Geschichten. Durch persönliche Erfahrungen und Erlebnisse. Sie in Interviews einzufangen und für spätere Generationen zu bewahren, ist das Ziel des Vereins UNSERE GESCHICHTE. DAS GEDÄCHTNIS DER NATION. Das bundesweit einmalige Projekt sammelt Erzählungen von Zeitzeugen zu Alltagserfahrungen und zentralen Momenten der deutschen Geschichte. Vor der Kamera berichten Jung und Alt über ihre ganz individuellen Erinnerungen an historische Ereignisse und Entwicklungen. Sie bilden die Mosaiksteine im Geschichtsbild einer Nation und prägen das Selbstverständnis einer Gesellschaft. Erzählen auch Sie uns Ihre Geschichte und werden Teil eines facettenreichen Archivs der Erinnerungen!
